Last Saturday I attended the 2026 Federation of European Professional Photographers (FEP) Awards here in Reykjavík, Iceland. This is my fourth time participating in the FEP Awards and I am proud to announce that I had the pleasure of securing two top 3 positions this year: Silver (2nd place) in the Landscape category and Bronze (third place) in the Nature category.
This is my best result yet since I began participating in the FEP Awards in 2023. Having the ceremony here in Iceland, during the celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the Icelandic Professional Photographer Association (Ljósmyndarafélag Íslands) and it being on my home turf, makes it an even more special win for me.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me in the last years, whether it has been by simply following my work, sending me encouraging messages, buying a book or a print, participating on a photo workshop, … Every little bit of encouragement helped me get to where I am at today.
I would also like to use this opportunity to congratulate all the other finalists, the other winners in each category and the overall winner of this year’s FEP Awards. It has been an incredible pleasure to be in the company of so many great photographers.
For those who are interested, it’s possible to see all the competition results on the FEP website.
Below I have collected each of the three images that granted me this amazing second and third place.
Silver (2nd Place) in the Landscape Category
For the first time since I began participating in the FEP Awards, I managed to secure a Silver medal (2nd place) in the Landscape category.

Bronze (3rd Place) in the Nature Category
My second win in the FEP Awards 2026 is another top 3 position where I secured a Bronze medal (third place) in the Nature category.
Captured during my latest West Greenland workshop, this whirlpool appeared briefly next to an iceberg.
