Description

Why These 35 Iceland Photography Locations And Not Others?

Before we get into what’s in the ebook: I don’t share most photo locations publicly, for reasons I’ve written about at length. Mass-tourism damage to fragile environments isn’t something a social-media post can mitigate, and short attention spans don’t carry the responsibility context these places need.

The 35 locations in this ebook are the ones I’m willing to share, because they’re the ones I think can handle it. I’ve selected for developed infrastructure, primarily aerial spots, and places already well-known enough that one more visitor is marginal. Every location comes with notes on responsible behaviour, real on-the-ground risks, and what to leave alone.

This isn’t a Google-Maps dump of every spot I rate. It’s a curated set, with the environmental homework done.

Unlike crowd-sourced location lists, every spot in this e-book has been photographed by Jeroen personally and tested across multiple seasons.

Where most Iceland photo guides focus only on the south coast, this e-book maps locations across all four regions, including the highlands and the Westfjords.

We’ve previously photographed in Iceland (2017) and are planning a repeat trip. I was really happy to see a variety of locations listed in the eBook that we hadn’t previously visited. This will definitely be helpful for planning our next visit! Highly recommended.

A super useful and complete e-book. Jeroen shares a number of amazing locations, his tips as a photographer and precise information on how to get to the place. He also puts effort into explaining how to act responsibly when exploring Iceland. The design is very clean and the photos are obviously stunning. Directly enjoyed this precious guide. Takk fyrir Jeroen 🙂

In this E-Book, you can find some of the best locations to photograph the landscapes and wildlife of Iceland. Jeroen has made it not only easy to read but also detailed. As a landscape photographer, I often don’t make good photos when I’m not familiar with the place. This book helps you to understand more before you’re even there. I recommend it to every person who is new to Iceland or you simply want to understand more about the location you’re going.
