I recently joined the TRVL Photography Podcast for a conversation about my creative journey and how I ended up doing what I do.

We go back to the beginning. Growing up in Belgium, I spent a lot of my childhood travelling with my family. That’s where my curiosity for the natural world started, along with a lasting pull toward wild and remote places. Eventually that pull led me to Iceland. The raw landscapes, the storms, the midnight light, all of it lines up with the kind of work I want to make.

In the episode we talk about the messier parts of building a creative career, my attraction to solitude and remote places, working in extreme environments, and shooting cinematic aerial imagery. For me, photography has always been about more than the images themselves.

Have a listen and let me know what you think!
