I released a brand new video which is a little bit of a teaser to the exhibition which is opening the coming week. This homage to the Fagradalsfjall Fires is a collection of video footage made during the two most recent volcanic eruptions at the Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland.
Earlier this month I spent a few days in Hornstrandir, a remote area in the West Fjords of Iceland. My goal was to photograph the arctic fox cubs which start leaving the safety of their dens around that time.
As many of you undoubtedly know, last year I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a volcanic eruption up-close in a way that has rarely been possible. I visited the Geldingadalir eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcanic system in Iceland over 44 times.
