Áhorfendur
Áhorfendur (translation: 'Spectators ') is a photograph taken during the 2021 volcanic eruption of Fagradalsfjall.
The photograph showcases the massive scale at which the lava fountain, or lava geyser, erupted. It shows our small size next to such a powerful display of nature’s force very well.

Ísjaki
Ísjaki (translation: 'Iceberg ') is a photograph taken during a winter expedition in Ilulissat Greenland.
This is a top-down aerial shot of a massive iceberg in the Ilulissat UNESCO Icefjord. The way the different blue tones look combined with the ice makes it almost look as if it's an abstract painting.

Röndótt
Röndótt (translation: 'Striped ') is a photograph taken during an amazing display of the aurora in 2021.
The northern lights, or aurora borealis, as it danced intensely above Karl, a rock just off the coast of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Easily one one of the most impressive displays of the northern lights I’ve witness to this day.

Hraunhjarta
Hraunhjarta (translation: 'Lava Heart ') is a photograph taken during the 2022 volcanic eruption of Fagradalsfjall.
This is what the inside of the massive crater looked like. Being able to fly a small camera above a volcanic eruption in the middle of the night, gives us a fresh look at this incredible natural phenomenon. To me it looks like a beating heart with veins flowing out of it - giving life to the new landscape that is surrounding the crater.
