I am excited to share that I will be speaking at The Photography & Video Show 2026, taking place from 14-17 March 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. This is the UK’s biggest event for photographers, videographers and visual storytellers.

Each year, The Photography & Video Show brings together thousands of creatives to explore inspiring talks, hands-on demos, cutting-edge gear and networking opportunities. It makes it a must-attend for anyone passionate about image-making.

My Session Details

On 16 March 2026, I’ll be speaking on the Behind the Lens Theatre stage from 14:45 to 15:25. My talk is titled:

“Capturing volcanoes: Five key moments”

I’ll dive deep into what I’ve learned over the past five years of photographing volcanic eruptions and remote landscapes. Focusing on five key moments from my last five years of capturing eruptions, I will describe the challenges they pose, the evolutions in both the landscape and my approach, and how creating images of these unique and enthralling natural events means a constant need to reinvent myself and my photography.

This session has been tailored for photographers and visual storytellers seeking creative inspiration, and visual storytelling strategies you can apply in your own work.

A little throwback to my lectures at the FEP Photo Day in April 2025.

Catch My Guest Appearance on The Photography & Video Show Podcast

In addition to speaking live in Birmingham, I’ve also had the great privilege of being a guest on the official Photography & Video Show Podcast, which is the monthly show hosted by David McClelland that highlights photography and filmmaking news, trends and creative minds from across the imaging world.

The podcast episode I am a guest on dropped today and my conversation there offers a deeper look into my creative journey, approach to landscape and aerial photography, and what I’m most excited to share at this year’s show. If you haven’t heard it yet, you can find the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and all major podcast platforms via the official show pages.
