The episode 'Beneath the Surface', produced by Leon Haberkorn, is about the ongoing series of volcanic eruptions that have been occurring near Grindavík, a village of 4000 people.

I took this photograph during the Geldingadalir eruption in 2021 shortly after all but one crater shut down, which ended up growing into a massive mountain which is still there today.
