The episode 'Beneath the Surface', produced by Leon Haberkorn, is about the ongoing series of volcanic eruptions that have been occurring near Grindavík, a village of 4000 people.

After returning from the epic expedition to Antarctica, it was time to move onto part two of my three and a half week journey. Because the Antarctica expedition started and ended in Punta Arenas (Chile), we decided to add on Chilean Patagonia for several days and, more specifically, Torres Del Paine National Park.

Three years ago, during the 2021 eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcanic system in Iceland, I set out on a mission to try and capture the northern lights above an erupting volcano. I recently attempted to witness this unique & rare combination of natural phenomenons again, which I have dubbed the ‘Holy Grail of Iceland Photography’.
