Time surely flies! The Geldingadalir eruption, the first Fagradalsfjall eruption, turns four today! Those who have been following my work surrounding the volcanic eruptions on Reykjanes Peninsula for a while will know how important the Geldingadalir eruption was to me, and still is today. It wasn’t just a childhood dream come true, it was also the moment everything changed professionally for me. It kickstarted my photography career and gave me the necessary boost in confidence to turns a hobby into my livelihood. Very much like the eruption giving birth to a new landscape, it gave birth to a new, big chapter in my life.
On April 6th, I am hosting a free webinar where I will talk about my work surrounding the volcanic eruptions of the last four years. Scroll down below to find out more!
Register To Attend My Free Webinar On Photographing Volcanoes
Every year on March 19th I have looked back on the start of that eruption with a blog, new images, and more. This year, I decided to do something I haven’t done yet which is a webinar, or online lecture, on my work surrounding my volcano photography. In the last four years, I have been on the front-line documenting the seemingly endless series of volcanic eruptions in Iceland. What started out as a dream-come-true, quickly turned into a mission to document every single aspect of seeing new earth being formed in front of my eyes. The webinar will take about an hour (+ Q&A) and is completely free to attend. In order to attend, you just have to register via the link below.
