Itinerary

Day 1 (18/11/23) – Arrival in Reykjavík

The workshop begins when we meet at the hotel on the evening of the 18th. To break the ice, we will go out for a welcome dinner so we can get to know each other a bit better.

Day 2-7 (19-24/11/23) – Exploring the South Coast of Iceland

We leave Reykjavík behind us and set out to explore the south coast of Iceland. In the first two days, we will explore the south coast up to the village of Vík. We will spend precious time photographing the stunning Reynisdrangar sea stacks, the magical waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss, the steep cliffs of Dyrhólaey and more.

Later on we travel further east to the area around the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. We will spend time photographing floating icebergs, finding that perfect glacial ice at the Diamond Beach and also exploring a crystal blue ice cave. Before heading back towards Vík, we will travel even further east where we attempt to photograph the famous Vestrahorn and Eystrahorn mountains. There’s plenty more to be photographed but we won’t spoil it all!

Our goal throughout the workshop is to optimally use the weather conditions. This means that during the return journey to Vík, we will visit locations we hadn’t visited before or revisit them if we get better conditions.

Day 8 (25/11/23) – Return to Reykjavík

On this final full day, we will make our way back to Reykjavík by driving along the Golden Circle. In the evening, we will have a tasty goodbye dinner.

Day 9 (26/11/23) – Heading Home

On this final morning, it’s time to part ways. After a breakfast at the hotel, everyone heads back home.
