Svalbard is one of the most remote and dramatic destinations in the world, known for its vast glaciers, rugged mountains and extraordinary wildlife. Located far north in the Arctic Ocean, the Svalbard archipelago, including Spitsbergen, offers exceptional opportunities for both landscape photography and wildlife photography.

In the summer of 2019, Jeroen finally realised a long-held ambition by travelling to Svalbard. The stark beauty of its glacial fjords, jagged mountains and polar wildlife left a lasting impression and strengthened his passion for polar landscape photography.
