NEW: Drone Photography Masterclass: everything you need to know in 50+ videos. Click here to find out more!

A few weeks ago I got the news that I was selected as part of Team Belgium in the World Photographic Cup. The World Photographic Cup is looked at as an Olympics-style global photography competition, which embodies all professional photography organizations around the world.

And today, I am happy to share that I have won Best of Nation for Belgium, which means I received the highest score for our team with one of my images. Not only that, I am also one of the 10 finalists in the Nature/Landscape category in the World Photographic Cup. I am really proud of this achievement and very grateful for the recognition my work has received on a global level. I look forward to the final results which will be announced during the ceremony during the Zero Latitud Expo in Ecuador which takes place March 17-21 2025.

The image that was selected is an image I captured in the Icelandic Highlands last summer during a pretty intense rainstorm.
