# World Photographic Cup 2025: Fifth Place in Nature/Landscape!

> Last night the final results of the World Photographic Cup 2025 were announced in Quito (Ecuador) where I received fifth place in my category.

In December last year, I got the news that I not only [received “Best of Nation” for Belgium](https://jvn.photo/wpc-2025-best-nation-finalist-nature-landscape/) but that I was also [one of the finalists in the Nature/Landscape category in the World Photographic Cup](https://jvn.photo/wpc-2025-best-nation-finalist-nature-landscape/). The World Photographic Cup is looked at as an Olympics-style global photography competition, which embodies all professional photography organizations around the world.

Last night [the final results](https://worldphotographiccup.org/wp-content/galleries/2025-overall.html#!) were announced in Quito (Ecuador) where **I received fifth place in my category**. Given that this is a global competition, I am very proud of this fifth place and grateful I have been given international recognition for my aerial photography. I would also like to congratulate the other finalists, medalists and overall winners in the competition.
