Recently, I spent a morning photographing seals at one of my favourite locations. It was an interesting morning for wildlife due to the weather conditions. In this blog I share how things went and also how I edited my photographs from this trip.
The past weeks have been incredibly busy for me. Among other things, I was finalising my book with the printing company, giving a lecture at the Photo Days in Brussels and much more. I guess it was time to give you all a bit of an update of what's going on these days.
In July, I made a 6-day trip to Grímsey, an island on the Arctic Circle teeming with seabirds. My primary goal was to photographic the Atlantic Puffin, one of the most photogenic birds in Iceland.
Two weeks ago, I went on my first photography excursion, other than the eruption, since early March. I travelled to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and had an awesome weekend filled with wildlife encounters. One of those encounters really resonated with me.
When I’m not out photographing, I find I am spending a lot of time looking at what fellow photographers are doing. I’m doing that to get inspired, to learn new techniques or to enjoy the photographic work that many other talented people are putting out there. In this blog, I listed up 5 photographers whose work I thoroughly enjoy.
As an independent nature photographer, I partially rely on your financial support to keep producing worthwhile content such as blogs, photographs, books and much more. If you want to support my work, it is possible to do so by buying my e-books & books, calendars or prints. In return you get to enjoy a beautiful book or artwork.
