Earlier this month I spent a few days in Hornstrandir, a remote area in the West Fjords of Iceland. My goal was to photograph the arctic fox cubs which start leaving the safety of their dens around that time. It was an exciting trip full of photography, hiking and wildlife. This is also my first on-location vlog-style YouTube video. I hope you all enjoy it!

And again: subscribing to my channel together with liking and sharing the video is the best way to support my work!

That trip was in July, when the cubs are out and the adults are still brown. In February 2027 I am going back to Hornstrandir in winter for the first time, with a group of six, to photograph the foxes in full winter coat. Details are on [the Arctic Foxes in Winter 2027 workshop page](https://jvn.photo/photo-workshops/arctic-foxes-winter-2027/).
