It’s the first time I participate in this competition and I am really honored I received this special prize.

The image that received me the award is one I captured during [my recent photo workshop in East Greenland](https://jvn.photo/eastern-greenland-exploring-the-solitude-of-scoresbysund/). I spotted this unique spiral of floating chunks of ice in a remote area near Scoresbysund in East Greenland. I really liked this spiral and it only appeared momentarily. A few moments later, the spiral was no more.

*I discovered this spiral of floating chunks of ice in the ‘Iceberg City’ in a remote part of Scoresbysund in East Greenland.*
