## Wildlife & Bird Photography

Wildlife photography has always been an essential part of Jeroen’s creative journey. As a hybrid photographer, he combines his passion for [landscapes](https://jvn.photo/photo-workshops/nature-landscape/) with a deep fascination for **birds and wildlife**, a fascination that began in childhood with an obsession for whales and the natural world in general.

From [puffin colonies](https://jvn.photo/why-this-is-the-best-location-to-photograph-puffins-in-iceland/) to [Arctic foxes](https://jvn.photo/photographing-arctic-foxes-with-canon-rf-200-800mm-f6-3-9-is-usm/), whales and [penguins](https://jvn.photo/photo-workshop-report-antarctica-antarctic-peninsula-2026/), Jeroen photographs wildlife across [Iceland](https://jvn.photo/gallery/iceland/), [Greenland](https://jvn.photo/gallery/greenland/) and [Antarctica](https://jvn.photo/gallery/antarctica/). Wildlife photography and bird photography demand patience and a good understanding of animal behaviour. While success is never guaranteed, capturing a powerful moment in the wild remains one of the most rewarding experiences in photography. As a professional wildlife photographer, Jeroen also [leads dedicated wildlife photography workshops](https://jvn.photo/photo-workshops/wildlife-bird/) in Iceland, Greenland and Antarctica, helping photographers improve their technique, composition and confidence in the field.

In this gallery, you will discover a curated selection of his favourite bird photography and wildlife photography images from some of the most remote and spectacular environments on Earth.
